- Easy to Install – 8-pin connector to bare wire leads for straightforward hardwiring. Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal, and the black wire to the negative (-) terminal. Connect other color wires to the NMEA 0183 Device. Install the Split Ring Connector and o-ring on the end of the wiring harness. Connect the wiring harness to the device by turning the locking ring clockwise.
