- North American BMW gasoline engines and full-SAPS applications: Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen2 is the BMW Longlife-01 product for pre-2019 BMWs sold outside the European Union, not the Longlife-04 formulation (which is Motul X-Clean Gen2). Not suitable for modern diesel engines fitted with a diesel particulate filter. For DPF diesels, use Motul X-Clean Gen2. The 5 Liter jug supports a standard European oil service interval with headroom for top-off.
