- This electric foam cutting pen has an input voltage of 100–240 V, an output voltage of 7.5 V, an output current of 2 A, and a power rating of 18 W. Using an incompatible adapter may damage the device. It is suitable for artistic modeling, student craft projects, bell-making, and creative modeling.
- This foam cutting pen is only suitable for foam materials with a flash point of ≤200°C and can only cut soft and low-temperature materials. The following materials are explicitly excluded: KT board, EVA, high-density polystyrene, rigid plastics, etc.; hot-melt cutting requires a preheating period.
- Turn on the cutting pen and set the switch on the side of the adapter to the “ON” position. Preheat for 30 to 60 seconds. Never cut or force the pen forward without preheating, as this may damage the heating element. We recommend maintaining a cutting speed of 1–2 cm/s to ensure the heat fully melts the material.
- When not in use, the cutting pen can be placed on the holder. You can turn off the switch and put it on it to cool; in addition, the handle has a very good anti-slip effect. It is recommended that each use be no more than 30 minutes and rest for 10 minutes after use.The cutting pens tip becomes very hot, so do not touch it.
- This foam cutting pen melts foam material using heat to achieve cutting. Its blade sharpness is not a conventional design; never attempt to forcefully cut without preheating. It must be fully preheated to its maximum temperature before cutting. After preheating , the hot wire foam cutting pen can swiftly and smoothly cut through foam, leaving sealed edges with no residual debris.
